Graveside Services for Ms. Anna Mae Simmons, age 86, will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, May 10th from the Holly Springs Cemetery. Bro. Herman Brady will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 PM at Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.
Mrs. Anna passed from this life on Sunday, May 8, 2022, from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Putnam County, Tennessee on July 19, 1935, to the late Virgil and Janette Jernigan Maynard. She was a member of the Holly Springs Church of Christ. Anna made beautiful works of art with her needle and thread and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to church, a good meal and watching television.
Anna leaves behind her daughter, Diane Brady and husband Herman; grandson, Matt Brady and girlfriend Betsy Connor; granddaughters, Tamara Copeland and husband Jason, Beth Johnson and husband Ryan King, Alli Cross and husband Colton, and Nicole Asher and husband Kevin; great grandchildren, Cora, Fletcher, Charlee, Riggs, Tatum, Eliza, Coleman, and Callan.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husbands, Verdie Massa, and James Simmons; son, Jeff Massa; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Pallbearers to serve are Matt Brady, Jason Copeland, Ryan King, and Glenn Tidwell.
