Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Ruth Davis, age 75, of Livingston, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. , in the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Mickey Ledbetter will officiate. Burial will follow at Cash Cemetery.

The family will welcome friends for visitation at Speck Funeral Home on Monday, December 9, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Tuesday, December 10, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mrs. Betty passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the comfort of her home, surrounded by love. Born on September 11, 1949, in Livingston, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James and Carrie Lee Dillon Bilbrey.

Betty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, like sitting on her porch, cooking meals for her family, and collecting knick-knacks that brought her joy. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, who meant the world to her.

She is survived by her loving family: Daughter: Anna Randles (husband, Jerry) of Rickman, TN. Son: David Davis of Crossville, TN. Grandchildren: Kevin Randles (wife, Amber) of Sparta, TN; Keith Randles (wife, Tiffany) of Hilham, TN; Kaylye Lynn Davis of Beach Grove, TN; and Dalton Lee Davis. Great-grandchildren: Paxton Randles, Olivia Randles, and Kaylee Kelley. Sisters: Margaret Brown of Lebanon, TN, and Mary Stover of Livingston, TN. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, James Lewis Pennington, and her brothers: Thomas Bilbrey, Teddy Bilbrey, Carl Bilbrey, Glenn Bilbrey, Steve Bilbrey, and Harold Bilbrey.

Betty’s warmth, kindness, and love will be remembered by all who knew her. She was a steadfast presence in the lives of her family and a friend to many. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
