Speck Funeral Home - Betty Elizabeth King

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Elizabeth King, age 95 of Hilham, will be conducted 1 PM Wednesday, June 9th, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.  Bro. John Mabry will officiate.  Burial will be in the Hilham Cemetery  The family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening from 5 until 9 PM.

Mrs. King passed from this life on Saturday morning, June 5, 2021, from the Overton County Health and Rehab Center.  She was born in Elwood, Indiana, on May 23, 1926, to the late William and Iris Hieny Westrater.  Betty loved her family, going to church, and quilting.

Mrs. King leaves behind her grandchildren Scott Keisling and wife Sheila of Rickman, Bryan Keisling of Livingston, Jack King of Burkesville, KY, Billy King of Anderson, IN, Dawn Michelle King of Anderson, IN, Beth Merritt of Anderson, IN, Paul Merritt of Anderson, IN, Betsy Lynne Richardson of Ocala, FL, Chris King of Ocala, FL, Timothy Michael King of Ocala, FL, Tonya Baker of Ocala, FL, and Monica King of Ocala, FL; several great grandchildren; son-in-law Bill Beechboard of Hilham; daughters-in-law Helen King of Anderson, IN, and Betsy King of Ocala, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Walter King; sons Jack King, Bill King, and Junior King; daughter Diana Beechboard; brothers Bob Westrater, William Westrater, Jr., Larry Westrater, and Morris Bratton; and sisters Orpha Etchinson, Maxine Lewis, and Rosemary Bright.
