Graveside Services for Mr. William "Billy" Tate Coleman, age 56, of Anderson IN. will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2025, from the Falling Springs Cemetery In Overton County, Tennessee.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.  Mr. William "Billy" Coleman was born on January 27, 1969, in Anderson, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2025, in Daleville, Indiana. Billy was a beloved figure in his community, renowned for his enthusiastic spirit and unwavering dedication to making those around him happy.

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, Billy contributed his skills to the Operators Union, where he displayed the same vigor and commitment that defined his personal life. His career was marked not only by his professionalism but also by a strong camaraderie with his colleagues, who recognized him as the life of the party. His vibrant personality and genuine desire to help others left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Billy’s love for adventure was evident in his hobbies. He found immense joy in riding motorcycles, four wheelers, and dirt bikes, and he cherished time spent in the mountains, where he felt most alive. These activities became cherished memories for him and his family.

Among his greatest joys in life was spending time with his grandson, Skylar. Billy took immense pride in his role as a grandfather and treasured the moments they shared. His family and friends will remember him as a caring individual who was always there for the people he loved.

Billy is survived by his son Dylan Tate; grandson Skylar Tate; siblings Brutus Coleman, Jayson Reist, Sarah Thompson; nieces and nephews Cody Coleman, Tony Coleman, Jaycade Reist, Andrew Thompson, and Katie Thompson; nephew Tre Smith and kids Frankie, Sonny, Lenny, and Tommy; and many special friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father James Coleman and great aunt and uncle Franny and Jack Whitehead. 

Billy's unexpected passing has left a significant void in the lives of all who knew him. His exuberance for life and his selfless nature will be profoundly missed.
