Speck Funeral Home - Billy Jim Little

Graveside Services for Mr. Billy Jim Little, age 91, of Rickman will be conducted 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from the Good Hope Cemetery. Bro. Harold Smith will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the Graveside at Good Hope Cemetery.

Billy passed from this life on Wednesday afternoon, October 6, 2021 from the comfort of his home in Rickman.  He was born in Overton County, Tennessee to the late Hershel and Clara Belle Maddux Little.  A member of the First United Methodist Church of Livingston, a 1948 graduate of Livingston Academy, and graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor of Science.  Billy served his country in the Navy and the Army during the Korean Conflict.  He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, working on computers, riding motorcycles, camping and traveling.  Billy also enjoyed working with the Gideons International.

Billy leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Mrs. Roxie Smith Little of Rickman, TN; sons, David Little and wife Veronica of Conyers, GA, and John Mark Little and wife Jean of Alaska; daughters, Sheila Heeke and husband Lance of Young Harris, GA, Phyllis Looper and husband Doug of Livingston, TN, and Teresa Richardson and husband Jamie Boykin of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Brian Heeke and wife Aeriel, Brent Heeke and wife Lauren, Lauren Heeke Szu-Tu and husband Kevin and Lori Looper; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Little.

Pallbearers to serve are Lance Heeke, Brian Heeke, Brent Heeke, Robert Little, Doug  Looper, and Kevin Szu-Tu.
