A Celebration of Life for Ms. Blenda L.B. Dishman Trevino, age 75, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at a later date to honor her life and legacy.

Blenda passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 4, 1949, in Livingston, Tennessee, to the late Gib and Audie Bilbrey Dishman.

Blenda lived a life rooted in faith, family, and creativity. Her love for God and her church was unwavering, and she found joy in sharing her faith with others. An avid crafter, Blenda poured her heart into creating beautiful things that brought happiness to those around her. Most of all, she cherished her family deeply, and her warmth and love were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. To know Blenda was truly to love her.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Trevino (Emma Sue) of Rickman, TN; her grandchildren, Sthephanie Trevino, Thomas Trevino, Anna Johnson, and James Brown; and her great-grandchildren, Isiah Johnson and Willie Johnson. She is also survived by her sisters, Marilyn Kellogg (Brian) of Battle Creek, MI, and Patsy Ann Dishman Adams of Livingston, TN; her brother, Leonard Dishman (Jovita) of Pontiac, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Blenda is preceded in death by her son, Javier Trevino; her siblings, Carlene McBride and Ricky Dishman; her brother-in-law, Jackie Adams; and her beloved grandparents, Chammie and Loretta Bilbrey and Andrew and Lily Belle Dishman.

Blenda’s family and friends will forever cherish her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
