He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Carl Almonrode and Virginia Swallows Almonrode along with other family members.
Bobby enjoyed working with his hands and had a true gift in many fields of construction. He was an electrician, a bricklayer, a carpenter, and a general contractor. He built several houses in the Upper Cumberland Area. Bobby was politically opinionated and didn't care to tell you what side of the aisle he was on and what side you should be on. He enjoyed watching sports on TV. He was often found watching NASCAR, ball games that featured the Vols or the Memphis Grizzlies. Bobby attended Memorial Baptist Church until his health began to decline. Bobby will be missed by many family and dear friends, especially Rick McDonald and Joe Pigg, two of his closest friends.
