Bruce Duyaine Winningham, age 71, born November 14, 1954 in Livingston, TN. Bruce was the son of the late Cleo Winningham Daniels and step-father Willie "Bud" Daniels of Livingston. He was a hard worker, caring person, very intelligent, loved to read and loved history. He also loved his fur babies (cats).
Bruce graduated from LA in 1974 with honors in Who's Who of America. When graduating he also received the Most Improved Award. He then went on to work at Cumberland Manufacturing. For many years after that he worked for Deloy Miller and Poston & Poston Drilling. He then moved to Nashville, TN to pursue education at John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science. He received the highest honors on the State Board. He stayed and worked in Nashville for many years at numerous funeral homes, before returning to his home town where he worked at his local funeral homes.
He is survived by three sisters Brenda Friant, Belinda Masters and husband David, and Kay Boswell all of Livingston; step-brother Dennis Daniels and wife Valerie of Indiana. He was also survived by nieces Kim, Shannon, and Stephanie all of Livingston, Lisa, Holly, and Megan of Indiana, nephews Randell of Clarkrange, Derek of Livingston, Josh Daniels, Josh Anderson of Indiana, and Eric of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Jonah and Laura Mae Winningham and Robert and Iris Daniels, mother Cleo Winningham Daniels, step-father Willie "Bud" Daniels, sister Brillie Faye Winningham who passed away in childhood, step-brothers John Michael Daniels and Andy Daniels.
Graveside service will be conducted on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Hoover Cemetery. Bro. Darrek Copeland will officiate.
