Charles Keith Anderson, born December 3, 1948, in Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of December 24, 2025, at the age of 77.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Dorothy Anderson, and brother Winfrey Allen Anderson of Burkesville, Kentucky.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Lynda (Sells) Anderson.  He is also survived by his son Chuck Anderson and daughter-in-law Alyssa Anderson of Alpine, and by his cherished granddaughter Abigail Anderson.  Charles is survived by his sister Patty Davidson of Richmond, Kentucky; his nephew Ben Davidson and wife Carrie of Colorado, and their children Elijah and Jackson Davidson.  He is further survived by his uncles, Bob Coop and Jim Coop and Jim's wife Tootsie of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Charles was a proud 1970 graduate of Berea College, where he majored in Industrial Arts.  He dedicated much of his life to teaching, sharing his knowledge of math and carpentry with countless students at TCAT Livingston.  Beyond the classroom, Charles was a skilled craftsman who built homes, earned recognition as a master staircase builder, and possessed a remarkable talent for carving.

A devout Christian, Charles faithfully served the churches in his community throughout his life.  He was a teacher to many, a devoted Bible scholar, and a trusted friend whose wisdom, generosity, and steady faith left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Charles Keith Anderson will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, students, and community.

On Sunday December 28th 2025, there will be a gathering of friends and family at the Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston at 3 pm with the graveside service beginning at 3:30 pm.  Raymond Castillo will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Ronald Smith, Kenny Claywell, Frankie Sells, Ralph Robbins, Caleb Johnson, Ben Davidson, and Torrey Smith.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.
