Speck Funeral Home - Charles Becker

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles "Chuck" Raymond Becker, age 79, of the Roaring River Community will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 from the Dodson Chapel United Methodist Church, where his body will lie in repose from 1 p.m. until time of services.  Bro. Jeff Cotterman will officiate.  A private burial will be at a later date.  The family will welcome friends at Speck Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7 until 8 p.m.

Chuck passed from this life on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  He was born in  Wyandotte, Michigan on July 10, 1941 to the late Raymond and Maxine Law Becker.  A tool machinist by trade and a member of the Dodson Chapel United Methodist Church.  Chuck loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He enjoyed listening to talk radio, fishing as much as possible and joking with his family and friends. 

Chuck leaves behind his wife Marilyn Moore Becker of the Roaring River Community; son, Wade Becker of the Roaring River Community; daughters, Deborah Escobar and husband Bobby, and Linda Strickenfinger and husband Dan all of Topeka, KS, and Theresa Kirby and husband Jason of Dawsonville, GA; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Lynne Zimmer and husband David of Harbor Springs, MI; brother, Bruce Becker of Harbor Springs, MI.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Becker and first wife, Janice Becker.

Pallbearers to serve are Wade Becker, Jason Kirby, Johnny Holtzclaw, David Zimmer, and  Kevin Holtzclaw
