Obituary
Funeral Services for Mr. Charles C. Holmes, age 86 of Rickman, will be conducted 1 PM Saturday, April 30th from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Pastor Eric Fox will officiate. Burial will be in the Netherland Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of services at 1 PM.
Mr. Holmes passed from this life on Saturday night, April 23, 2022, from the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Michigan on December 12, 1935, to the late Haddie Reed. Charles loved spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing. He always enjoyed playing his guitar and spending time outdoors.
Mr. Holmes leaves behind his loving wife Debra Holmes of Rickman; sons Dywane Holmes of Flint, Michigan, and Chuck Holmes of Michigan; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and brother Robert Holmes of Bancroft, Michigan.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Holmes was preceded in death by his daughters Teresa Holmes and Karen Holmes and brothers Dale Holmes, Jim Holmes, and Art Holmes.
Pallbearers to serve are Brandon Holmes, Cliff Holmes, Hunter Holmes, and Dywane Holmes.
