Speck Funeral Home - Charles Smith

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles H. Smith, age 69, of Rickman will be conducted 1 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022 from the Paran Church.  Pastor Danny Whitson will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Paran Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 11am until time of services from the Paran Church.

Mr. Smith passed from this life on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  He was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 31, 1952, to the late Coy Chastin and Jean Marguerite Peters Smith.  Charles was a member of the Paran Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and carpentry.  He loved his family dearly and loved the Lord and going to church.

Charles leaves behind his daughters, Dawn Smith of Rickman, TN, Jennifer Smith of Cookeville, TN, and Stephanie Boles and husband Cody of Livingston, TN; sons, Chase Smith and wife Laura of Rickman, TN, and Jacob Smith and wife Kelli of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Daniel, Zackery, Luke, Samuel, Dalton, Piper Jo, and Maverick; great-granddaughters, Kallie and Natalie; brother, Lloyd Smith and wife Charlotte, of IN; sisters, Doris Steele, Imogene Linedecker, and Charlene Clark and husband Butch all of Indiana; several beloved nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
