Clifford Ray “Mousie” Thrasher – Age 83 of Smyrna, TN. Born March 20, 1938. Died November 1, 2021, in Smyrna, TN. Ray is preceded in death by mother, Mary McCulley and sister, Joyce McCulley.  Survivors include his wife and love of his life, Linda; children, Dana and Thomas (Melissa); and grandchildren, Blake and Riley.

Special thanks to Dr. Gibson, Dr. Bounds and Nurse Lisa at St. Thomas Midtown Medical Group and to Tim and the staff at Pharmacy Care of TN for their care and kindness throughout the years. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tennessee Children's Home, 2225 Robertonson Rd., Spring Hill, TN 37174. Ray served 4 years in the Air Force in the 686th out of Roswell, NM and made lifelong friends. He loved attending the reunions every year and keeping in touch with the guys. He opened Thrasher Dental Laboratory in Madison, TN and worked there until retirement. He loved tinkering with and restoring old gasoline engines and collecting rusty treasures. He told the best stories. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He loved to laugh and eat good food (which was plentiful thanks to Linda). 

Services will be conducted by James Thrasher on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. (visitation 12-1 p.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Waller Chapel, 7281 Nolensville Road, Nolensville, TN, 615-776-7009.
