Funeral Services for Mr. Curt Allred, age 91, of Alpine will be conducted 1 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2024, from the Grace Baptist Church in Alpine.  Bro. John Copeland will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Green Hill Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service from the Grace Baptist Church.

Mr. Curt Allred passed from this life on Friday morning, October 25, 2024, from the Livingston Regional Medical Center.  He was born at home in Alpine, Tennessee on May 14, 1933, to the late Fowler and Cora Smith Allred.  He worked for many years at the local sawmill.  Curt enjoyed going squirrel hunting with his friends, chewing Beech-Nut Tobacco, working on guns, making arrowheads, and finding four-leaf clovers. Curt also enjoyed sitting on his front porch talking with his friends and neighbors.

Curt leaves behind his step-daughter; Gail Ledford and husband Keith of the Ivyton Community, grandchildren, Jamie Ledford and wife Sarah of the Ivyton Community, and Ginger Meredith and husband Nathan of Alpine, TN; great-grandchildren, Brylee Ledford, Cambria Ledford, and Easton Ledford; nephews, Randall Allred, Gerald Allred, and Clinton Allred; niece, Diane Dishman; special friends, Kenneth Bilyeu, George Sells, Estell Nelson, and Jerry Smith

In addition to his parents, Curt was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jewell Ruble Allred; brothers, Horace Allred, Dorace Allred, and Bill "Cherokee" Allred; sisters, Claudine Wilton, Edna Linder, and Pauline Johnson.

Pallbearers to serve are Clinton Allred, Gerald Allred, Randall Allred, Charlie Sells, Jerry Dale, and John Keisling.
