Speck Funeral Home - Curtis Abbott

Funeral Services for Mr. Curtis Ray Abbott, age 65, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Bobby Gore will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Miller Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Thursday morning, from 11 a.m. until time of services.  

Mr. Abbott passed from this life on Monday evening, May 24, 2021.  He was born in Overton County, Tennessee to the late James and Reba Breeding Abbott.  Curtis loved his family dearly especially his grandchildren.  He enjoyed listing to music with his friends, and living alone off to himself.  He liked going to yardsales and buying things to fix up for re-sale.

Curtis Ray Abbott leaves behind his daughter, Angel Allred of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Jessica Allred, Donnie Allred III, Abby Allred, and Emma Allred; sister, Earlene Rush and husband Bob of Kalamazoo, MI; brother, Randall Abbott and wife Helen of Livingston, TN; also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Smith; and brothers, Michael Abbott, Larry Abbott, and Billy Abbott.
