Speck Funeral Home - Dallas Sullivan Obituary

Funeral Services for Mr. Dallas Sullivan, age 81 of Rickman, will be conducted 2 PM Tuesday, March 8th, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.  Bro. Mark Loftis will officiate.  Burial will be in the Netherland Cemetery with military honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will welcome friends on Monday from 5 until 9 PM and again on Tuesday from 8 AM until the time of services at 2 PM.

Mr. Sullivan passed from this life on Sunday morning, March 6, 2022, from his residence.  He was born in Overton County on April 4, 1940, to the late Lucien and Zelma Burgess Sullivan.  Dallas loved his family very much.  He always enjoyed being a member of the Veterans Honor Guard, traveling, and driving his truck.  He enjoyed talking to people, and he never met a stranger.

Mr. Sullivan leaves behind his loving wife Thelma Sullivan of Rickman; sons Dallas Lucian Sullivan and wife Irene of Sparta, Dale Sullivan and wife Angela of Livingston, and Dan Sullivan and wife Jennifer of Rickman; daughter Vickie Wilson of Cookeville; grandchildren Miranda Cotterman and husband Joey, Matthew Sullivan, Cameron Wilson and wife Tara, Luke Sullivan, Isaac Sullivan, Emma Grace Sullivan, and Ella Sullivan; great grandchildren Caleb Carden, Zach Cotterman, Aydan Wilson, Bray Wilson, Camdyn Wilson, and Ben Wilson; brothers Larry Sullivan and wife Jean of Rickman and Jerry Sullivan of Rickman; sisters Carol Ann Hargis and husband Bill of Rickman, Colene Garrett and husband Jerry of Livingston, Connie Crabtree and husband Buddy of Rickman, Rita Melton of Crossville, and Robin Fernandez and husband Lee of Crossville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sullivan was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Sullivan.

Pallbearers to serve are Matthew Sullivan, Dallas Sullivan, Dale Sullivan, Dan Sullivan, Luke Sullivan, Cameron Wilson, Isaac Sullivan, and Bo Loftis.
