Mrs. Darla Elizabeth Garrett age 41, of Hilham, Tn left this life on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 surrounded by family in the comfort of her home after bravely fighting a long illness

Funeral Services for Darla will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2pm from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Monroe Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 11am until time of services.

Darla was a beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. She was a licensed cosmetologist for many years.

Darla is survived by her husband Kyle Garrett, two daughters Sadie Dorminey of Bells, Tn and Abby Garrett of Hilham, Tn, Grandson Sai Lavan Miles and was looking forward to the birth of her granddaughter. her Parents Randy and Diane Deaton of Hilham, Tn. Sister Hayley Carr and husband Rocky of Byrdstown, Tn one niece and two nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Russell and Doris Deaton and Maternal grandparents, William and Anna Halteman.
