Speck Funeral Home - David W. Ledbetter, Sr.

Funeral Services for Mr. David W. Ledbetter, Sr., age 65 of Livingston, will be conducted 1 pm Friday, December 18th, from Livingston United Methodist Church.  Rev. James Shenko will officiate.  Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  The family will welcome friends on Friday from 11 am until the time of services at 1 pm.

David passed from this life on Tuesday evening, December 15, 2020, from Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.  He was born in Overton County on February 18, 1955, to the late Robert Winson and Mary Marietta Gill Ledbetter.  David loved football, tennis, and reading.

David leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years Betty Coleman Ledbetter of Livingston; son David Ledbetter, Jr. of Livingston; daughters Patty Dale and husband David and Tamara Stocking and husband Lee; grandchildren Rex Dale and wife Kirstie of Livingston, Adam Dale, and Tori Stocking of Nashville; sister Bobbye Moore and husband Ron of Livingston; niece Jennifer Officer and husband Michael of Livingston; great nephew Sam Officer and fiancée McKenzie Shaw; great niece Kate Officer; and several other close family members.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers to serve are John Billings, Jay Coleman, Lee Stocking, Sam Officer, Rex Dale, and Bobby Almonrode.  Honorary pallbearers are Kelly Coleman, David Dale, Ron Moore, Bobby Cook, Burt Oakley, Ben Oakley, and Mike Officer.
