Funeral Services for Mr. Donald Charles Gore, age 78 of Celina, will be conducted 11 AM Thursday, April 1st, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. John Keith will officiate. Burial will be in Butlers Landing Cemetery with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday from 5 until 8 PM at Speck Funeral Home.
Mr. Gore passed from this life on Monday evening from his residence. He was born in Overton County on November 24, 1942, to the late Charles and Sibyl Howard Gore. Donald loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his dog Neva, going squirrel hunting, and gardening; but most of all he loved his Lord.
Mr. Gore leaves behind his loving wife Donna Gore of Celina; sons David Gore and wife Amy of Hilham and Mark Gore and wife LeAnn of Hilham; grandchildren William, Andrew, and Jake Gore; 2 step-daughters; 8 step-grandchildren; brother Tommy Gore and wife Pat of Rickman; sister-in-law Shirley Gore of Livingston; and uncle Carey Gore of Livingston.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gore was preceded in death by his brother Damon Gore.
Pallbearers to serve are William Gore, Andrew Gore, and Jeff Korth. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jake Gore.
