Funeral Services for Mr. Donald Ray Ledbetter, age 79, of Livingston, will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2024, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Ken Haney will officiate. Burial to follow in the Allens Chapel Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at Speck Funeral Home.
Mr. Donald Ledbetter passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. He was born, October 14, 1944, in Livingston, Tennessee to the late Claude Ledbetter and Ola Handy Hazellette. Donnie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who served his country in the Army in the Vietnam War and later in the Tennessee National Guard. He was a member of the Livingston Masonic Lodge #259 for 50 years. Donnie also retired from Norwalk Furniture.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his late wife of 40 years, Mrs. Charlene Rosenell Allen Ledbetter; brother, Roy Ledbetter; and sister, Betty Ledbetter.
Donnie leaves behind his sons, Johnny Ledbetter and wife Stacy and Doug Ledbetter and wife Cindy; grandson, Bryer, Jack, and Clayton Ledbetter; granddaughters, Thea Ledbetter, Hannah Ledbetter, and Jayme Smith; great-grandchildren, Dawson and Ava Smith; siblings, Claude Ledbetter, Claudine Allen, and Sabra Balling; Donnie also leaves behind several nieces and nephews including Lori and Lee Richards of Livingston.
Pallbearers to serve are Jack Ledbetter, Timothy Farris, Daryl Farris, Clayton Ledbetter, and Bryer Ledbetter.
