Speck Funeral Home - Donna L. Julian

Funeral Services for Mrs. Donna L. Julian, age 78, of Monroe will be conducted 1 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Roger Hillis will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Monroe Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Friday morning from 11a.m. until time of services at Speck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Donna Julian passed peacefully at home on April 2, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer.  A native of Ohio, she was born February 5, 1945, to the late Howard and Ethel Scott Jacob.  Donna went to college in Florida, where she met her husband of 53 years, Albert Julian.  They lived in Florida for 28 years before retiring to Livingston, TN in 1995.  Donna had a deep faith in God and trusted Him in all things.  She was active in the Church, community, Friends of the Library and she especially loved finding treasures to sell in her booths at The Emporium, where she had many friends.

Donna leaves behind her daughters, Cynthia Julian-Simmons and husband Mickey, of Livingston, TN, and Patrece Julian of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Jeremy Clayton and wife Jennifer, Savannah Clayton, and Sierra Clayton; sister, Verdena Rotalsky and husband Mike of Murrayville, GA.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Julian, and brothers, Bryon Jacob and Roger Jacob.

Pallbearers to serve are Mickey Simmons, Chris Rotalsky, Jeremy Clayton, Kevin Goolsby, Hunter Garrett, and Alex Smith.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Millard Oakley Public Library.
