Speck Funeral Home - Doris Faye Maxfield

Graveside Services for Mrs. Doris Faye Maxfield, age 76, of the Maple Grove Community will be conducted 5 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2023, from the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.  Bro. Darren Ford will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.

Mrs. Faye passed from this life from the comforts of her home on Sunday evening, August 27, 2023.  She was born at home on December 4, 1946, to the late John C. and Sadie Pearl Dulworth Maxfield.  A graduate of Celina High School, and a member of the Martin Chapel Church.  Faye worked over 40 years for the Livingston Regional Hospital as a LPN.  She loved her family and spending time with her grandbabies.  Sewing and cross stitching was her favorite pastime along with helping others and going to church.

Faye leaves behind her daughter, Kim South and husband Michael of Allons, TN; grandchildren, Cody Blakely and wife Caitlyn of Livingston, TN, Chelsea Blakely of Allons, TN, and Molli South of Allons, TN; great-grandchildren, Caleb Blakely, Carsie Blakely, and Carionah Blakely; brothers, Milton Maxfield and wife Elaine of Allons, TN, Jerry Maxfield of Monterey, TN, Benny Maxfield and wife Carolyn, Allons, TN.; sisters Ruby Anderson of Celina, TN, Francis Hargis of Allons, TN, and Betty Jo Hancock of Monroe, TN; also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her brothers, Cullom, Frank, Grady, John Epp Maxfield; sisters, Ruth Phipps, Zelma Denney, Irene Mabrey, Maggie Hahun, Callie Renner, Mary Lovely and Nancy Chapman.

Pallbearers to serve are Michael South, Cody Blakely, Charlie Maxfield, David Maxfield, Marty Maxfield, and Tony Maxfield, Steve Baugh, and Dale Sullivan.
