Speck Funeral Home - Douglas Langford

Funeral services for Mr. Douglas Langford, age 76 of Hilham, will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, September 12th, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Pastor Donnie Bull will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the time of service at Speck Funeral Home.  Burial will be held at a later date.

Mr. Langford passed from this life on Monday, September 7, 2020, from his residence.  He was born in Overton County on April 26, 1944, to the late Thomas Bradford and Lizzie Vela Franklin Langford.  Douglas loved going to Fiddler's Jamboree in Smithville, enjoyed going dancing, and loved working with cattle and spending time at the Cookeville Stock Barn.

Douglas leaves behind his sister Sandra Hobbs and husband Gary of Cantonment, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Langford was preceded in death by his brothers Doyle Langford, Thurman Langford, and Hurmon Langford; and sisters Ruby Jones and Reba Poteete.
