Speck Funeral Home - Earl F. Carr

Funeral Services for Mr. Earl F. Carr, age 94 of Livingston, will be conducted 2 PM Friday, May 6th, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. David Vaughn and Bro. Jon Ledbetter will officiate.  Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens with military services provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 8 PM at Speck Funeral Home.

Earl passed from this life on Tuesday morning, May 3, 2022, from his residence.  He was born in Overton County on October 21, 1927, to the late Roy and Debbie Carr.  Earl loved his wife and family.  He served his country during the Korean War, and he loved spending time outdoors gardening, hunting, and fishing.  Earl enjoyed raising cattle and spending time on his tractor, and he always loved attending church at the Livingston Church of Christ, where he was a faithful member.

Mr. Carr leaves behind his loving wife Agnes Carr of Livingston; daughters Carol Dickerson and husband David of Livingston and Marcia Mitchell and husband Tim of Cookeville; grandchildren Angela Webb, Andy and Holly Dickerson, Jacob and Lindsey Gore, and Sarah and Shawn Staggs; great grandchildren Chloe Webb, Kaiden Gore, Sawyer Dickerson, Andi Kate Dickerson, and Axel Gore; and his brother Leroy Carr of Livingston.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his brothers Ray Carr and Paul Carr and sister Clara Dean Vance.

Pallbearers to serve are Johnny Jenkins, Jacob Gore, Gary Gore, Dale Flatt, Andy Dickerson, and Shawn Staggs.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Brent Johnson, Charles Anderson, Kaiden Gore, Sawyer Dickerson, Axel Gore, Chloe Webb, Andi Kate Dickerson, Roy Pennington, and Leon Fletcher.
