Mr. Earl Glenn Day, age 71, of Livingston passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 from Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral service for Mr. Earl Day will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.Burial to follow in Coffee Cemetery. Dr. Micheal Cox will officiate the service. Family will welcome friends on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and then again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service. 

Earl was born in Livingston, TN on February 6, 1955 to the late Raymond and Elvadean Bilbrey Day. Earl enjoyed deer hunting and fishing along the banks of creeks and rivers. An avid collector, he loved swapping and trading coins, guns, and knives. Earl never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time talking with family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, he loved telling jokes and making others laugh.

Never one to shy away from speaking his mind, Earl stood firmly by his beliefs, whether others agreed with him or not. He had a passion for classic cars and trucks and took great pride in caring for his small flock of chickens.

A proud patriot, Earl faithfully served his country for 30 years in the National Guard. He enjoyed a life filled with the people, hobbies, and pursuits that brought him happiness and fulfillment, leaving behind many memories that will be cherished by those who knew him.

Earl is survived by his wife of 54 years Debra Day of Allons, TN; son Robert Day and wife Lisa of Livingston, TN; granddaughter Shawna Clark and husband Connor of Spokane, WA; sister-in-law Linda Day of Livingston, TN; nieces and nephew Felicia Etezadi, Ashleigh Day, and Cody day; and a host of extended family that will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents Earl was preceded in death by his brothers Randall Day and Dale Day.
