Funeral Services for Mr. Thomas Edward "Ed" Gilpatrick, age 74, of the Flatt Creek Community will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Bobby Gore, and Bro. Danny Staggs will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services at Speck Funeral Home.

Mr. Ed Gilpatrick passed from this life on Monday, April 29, 2024, from the Overton County Health and Rehab.  He was born at home on December 13, 1949, to the late Devaugh "Dude" Gilpatrick and the late Irene Ogletree Gilpatrick.  Ed was a faithful member of the Walnut Grove Church of Christ.  He was known for being the best fisherman in his community and enjoyed giving his friends and neighbors his daily catches and enjoyed sharing his garden with his family and friends.

Ed leaves behind his son, Eddie Gilpatrick and wife Shelley of the Flatt Creek Community; granddaughter, Hannah Newberry and husband Trevor of Byrdstown, TN; brother, Ben Gilpatrick of Livingston, TN special friend Janice Mullins and several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife Linda Kay Holman Gilpatrick; and sisters, Kathy Smith, and Karen Gilpatrick.
