Speck Funeral Home - Edath Marie Watkins

Funeral Services for Mrs. Edath Marie Delk Watkins, age 83, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Tim Delk will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Upchurch Cemetery in Pall Mall.  The family will welcome friends on Tuesday morning from 11 until time of services at 2 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Edath passed from this life on Saturday evening from the Overton County Health & Rehab in Livingston.  She was born in Fentress County, Tennessee on January 24, 1938 to the late Clarence and Vannie Crabtree Delk.  Christian in Faith, Edath loved going to church and being with her church family.  She enjoyed reading her bible and listening to Bluegrass and Gospel Music.  

Edath leaves behind her sons, Marty Beaty of Dalton, GA, and Robbie Beaty of Cookeville, TN; daughters, Rhonda Watson and Susan Kersey both of Crossville, TN; 1 grandson and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Edath was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Granville Beaty, and her second husband, Preston Watkins; son, Terry Beaty; brothers, Bruce Delk, and Douglas Delk; sisters, Clara Matthews, Bobbie Stinson, and Charlene Hinds.
