Elizabeth Gail Shipley

A celebration of life for Elizabeth Gail Shipley will be held at First Baptist Church in Livingston,
TN, at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 5, 2025. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until
the time of the service. Beth passed from this life at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on
September 30, 2025, surrounded by her family, including her husband, Jacob Shipley, and
daughter, Grace Koger.
Born in Livingston, TN, on December 28, 1962, she was the daughter of Carolyn and Kuell
White. Beth was a 1981 graduate of Livingston Academy, a member of First Baptist Church, and
a co-proprietor of Talk of the Town Catering and The Clark House, local businesses in Livingston,
TN.
Beth was a devoted member of her family, planning events and celebrating milestones. She was
an excellent cook who expressed her love through her culinary gifts. She was an avid reader,
cherished being around children, and enjoyed nothing more than time spent on her porch with
family and friends. She also loved to travel, with the lake and the beach being her favorite
destinations.
Beth is survived by her loving husband Jacob; daughter Grace Koger; son Nicholas Cohagen;
mother Carolyn White; brothers Mark White, Mitchell White, and Matthew White; sister-in-law
Cindy White; brothers-in-law Dr. Luke Anderson and Josh Shipley; special aunt Gail Walker Carr;
and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant son Alexander Fitzpatrick Shipley, her father Kuell
White, her grandparents Ermine and Vella White and Gentry and Talmadge Qualls, and other
extended family members.
