Speck Funeral Home - Florence (Chester) Booher

Mrs. Florence Booher, 79, passed away at the Integrity Healthcare of Celina on July 6th, 2026. Florence, or Flo as she was commonly referred to, loved caring for those around her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 9th at 3 pm from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 until 3 on Thursday. Burial will be in the Fellowship Cemetery.

Flo is survived by her sisters Ada Day of Monroe County KY and Arlene of Detroit MI. She is also survived by her sisters in law Becky Booher and Mary Booher; nephews James (Shana) Booher and Mark Booher; and great nieces and nephew Keria, Jada, and William Booher.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Mary Wilson Chester, Husband Joe T. Booher, sister Betty Clem, and brother-in-law William "Bud" Booher.

Born on January 20th, 1947, in Lexington KY, Flo was one of four children. Flo enjoyed feeding birds whether it be bird seed or bread scraps. Flo was no stranger to hard work and enjoyed her time while working. She attended Allons Church of Christ when able and loved her church family dearly. Flo will be missed by friends and family.
