Graveside Services for Mrs. Frances J. Hooks, age 91, of Allons, Tennessee will be conducted 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Keith Emrich will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the Graveside Service.

Mrs. Frances passed from this life on Sunday, morning, December 24, 2023, from the Livingston Regional Medical Center.  She was born at home in White, County, Tennessee on August 11, 1932, to the late Samuel and Modena Geesling Johnson.  She was a member of the Livingston First Baptist Church, and a 1950 graduate of Livingston Academy.  Frances had a green thumb for flowers and enjoyed sewing.  She loved cooking for her family and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frances leaves behind her son, David Hooks of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Amber Kennedy and husband Michael of Monroe, TN, and Samantha Gray and husband Shawn of Allons, TN; great-grandchildren, Kasen Kennedy, Eli Gray, and Mace Kennedy; sister, Sue Maynord, of Livingston, TN.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Burr Hooks and several brothers, and sisters. 

Pallbearers to serve are Michael Kennedy, Kasen Kennedy, Shawn Gray, Billy Joe Norrod, Jerry Carr, and Jimmy Johnson.
