Speck Funeral Home - Gary Allen

Funeral Services for Mr. Gary Glen Allen, age 58, of Hilham will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, March 20, 2022, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. John Mabrey will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Allens Chapel Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 6 until 9 p.m., then on Sunday from 11 a.m. until time of services.

Mr. Gary Allen passed from this life on Thursday evening, March 17, 2022, at his residence.  He was born June 30, 1963, in Trenton, Michigan to the late Hilmon and Mary Emma Carr Allen.  A member of the Church of Christ, Gary was known for his expert mechanic work on big and small engines.  Working on older cars and trucks was his enjoyment, along with fishing, country music and riding his motorcycle.  His family was most important to him, where he always enjoyed family gatherings.  

Gary leaves behind his lifelong partner, Robine Allen of Hilham, TN; children, David, Kelsey, and Steven; brothers, Bruce Allen and wife Debbie of Hardys Chapel, Kenneth Allen of Melvindale, MI, and Richard Dale Allen of Hilham, TN; sisters, Carolyn Hargis and Kim Thrasher both of Rickman, TN; special cousin, Tammy Lee and husband Odie of Hilham, TN; nieces, Wendi Copeland and Angela Sullivan; nephew, Steven Allen.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers to serve are Darrell Farris, Holden Hargis, Kenny Allen, Travis Lee, Doug Ledbetter, and Timmy Farris.

Honorary Pallbearers are Cameron Bates, Rod Edmonds, and Bruce Allen.
