A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Geneva Elise Hawkins, age 85, of Livingston, Tennessee, will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Geneva passed peacefully from this life on Monday, November 25, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Livingston. Born on September 13, 1939, in Allons, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Ruble and Elnora Logan Ruble.

Geneva had a warm and vibrant spirit, embodying a true love for people. She was a devoted caregiver, a skilled seamstress, and an avid quilter. She found great joy in her ministry and cherished opportunities to share her faith and meet new friends in her service to Jehovah God. Geneva lived a life of devotion, not only to her Creator but also to her beloved family, whom she adored and nurtured with unwavering love and care.

Geneva was married for 55 wonderful years to the love of her life, Mr. Bobby J. Hawkins, and their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership. She also lovingly cared for her mother, ensuring she was surrounded by compassion and grace until her final days.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Bobby Hawkins of Livingston, TN, and her beloved children:

Son: Timothy King (wife, Kat) of Dickson, TN.

Daughters: Sheree Miller of Tampa, FL; Shelah Powell (husband, Sol) of Dickson, TN; and Linda Cavanaugh (husband, Tom) of Livingston, TN.

Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren:

Grandchildren: Summer Berndt (husband, Anthony), Logan King (wife, Natash), Nikki Lahue, and Ashton Guerrero.

Great-grandchildren: Kobe Miller, Heaven Miller, Lincoln King, Breanna Lahue, Liam Lahue, Maricarmen King, Gustavo Guerrero, and Josephine Guerrero.

Geneva also leaves behind her dear siblings:

Sisters: Beulah Simons and Virginia Thompson, both of Florida, and Patsy Johnson (husband, Jim) of Tennessee.

Brother: Ronnie Ruble (wife, Jackie) of Livingston, TN.

In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her precious grandchildren, Ashley Miller and Tyler Miller, and her brothers, John Ruble, Bud Ruble, and Glen Ruble.

Geneva’s life was a beautiful example of kindness, faith, and selfless love. Her warm heart, dedication to her ministry, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever remain an inspiration to all who knew her.
