Graveside Services for Mrs. Genevie Walker, age 87, of Livingston was conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from the Miller Cemetery.  Bro. Michael Drennon officiated.  

Mrs. Genevie passed peacefully from her home on Tuesday, morning, November 21, 2023.  She was born at home in Livingston, Tennessee on April 13, 1936, to the late Millard and Mary Jane Staggs Savage.  Missionary Baptist in faith, Genevie loved going to church, and doing crafts.  She was a 1954 graduate of Livingston Academy.  Genevie was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved her family wholeheartedly. 

Genevie leaves behind her daughters, Vicky Watson and husband Harold of Livingston, TN, and Cindy Cravens and husband Jerry of Livingston, TN; son, David Walker and wife Terri of Pine Top, NC; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Savage of Livingston, TN; and sister, Ellen Joyce Sheilds of Livingston, TN.

In addition to her parents, Genevie was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Walker; 4 brothers, and 5 sisters.
