George Leon Seber of Allons Tennessee was born July 10, 1933 and passed from this life onto his heavenly home on June 18, 2026 at the Overton County Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 23rd from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home beginning at 2 pm. Brother Freddy Melton, Brother Roy Lee Seber, and Brother Grant Pennington to officiate. The family will welcome friends on Monday June 22nd from 5 until 8 pm and again on Tuesday from 11 am until 2 pm. Burial will be in the Overton Memorial Gardens. The Overton County Veterans Honor Guard will be performing military rights.

He is survived by his daughter Cindy Seber Jackson of Rickman , Tennessee and son, John (Janie) Seber of Jasper, Tennessee. Grandchildren TaShawna (Tyler) Calbaugh, David King, Ciarra (Bruce) Cantrell, Daniel (Megan) King, Zachary Seber, Lindsey (Blake) VanWinkle, and Jonathon (Jackie) Seber. Great Grandchildren Riley, Hadley, Harper, Asher, Benjamin, Georgia Kate, Juniper, and Jonny. His nieces Gail (Keith) McCormick and Rhesa Phillips. Brother-in-law‘s Jack, (Pam) Bryant, Tommy Bryant, Randy (Debbie) Bryant, Carl Garrett. Sisters-in-law’s Martha Les and Susan Gaw. 

He is proceeded in death by his wife of 65 years Betty “Trixie” Seber; his parents John William and Myrtie Ellen Seber; Brother Lloyd Seber and Sister Mozella Seber Phillips. 

George was a lifelong member of Allons Baptist Church in Allons, Tennessee, but later in life attended Plateau Road Baptist Church in Crossville with his family. He was a retired factory worker, farmer, and veteran of the US Army. He was known for his love for leading congregational singing and his kind heart and warm smile. 

Family will serve as pallbearers.
