Speck Funeral Home - Gerstle "Jack" Taylor

Funeral Services for Mr. Gerstle "Jack" Taylor, age 83 of Hilham, will be conducted 1 PM Sunday, September 12th from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.  Bro. Howard Dailey will officiate.  Burial will be in Maxwell Chapel Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 9 PM and again on Sunday from 9 AM until the time of services at 1 PM.

Jack passed from this life on Thursday morning, September 9, 2021, from his residence.  He was born in Jackson County on May 6, 1938, to the late Norman and Velma Coffman Taylor.  Jack loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.  He always enjoyed listening to country music.

Jack leaves behind his daughter Rita Nivins of Hilham; granddaughter Savannah Connor of Rickman; grandsons Camden Nivins and Colton Nivins; great granddaughter Bellany Coonor; special companion Wilma Taylor.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Carr and brother Clyde "Hershel" Taylor.

Pallbearers to serve are Camden Nivins, Colton Nivins, Jamie Emerton, Jeff Emerton, Shane Barlow, and David Coffman.
