Speck Funeral Home - Gilbert Poston

Graveside Services for Mr. Gilbert Poston, age 84 of McMinnville and formerly of Livingston, will be conducted 2 pm Saturday, December 26th, from the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Chris Coil will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.

Gilbert passed from this life on Wednesday morning, December 23, 2020, from Webb House in McMinnville.  He was born in Jackson County on October 11, 1936, to the late John and Zelma Allen Poston.  Gilbert loved his family, visiting friends, and going to flea markets to trade knives.  He loved going to church and spending time with his church family.

Mr. Poston leaves behind his loving wife Rose Ann Poston, daughter Tami Ross and husband Larry of McMinnville, and sister Jeanette Brown and husband Keith of Hilham.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Poston was preceded in death by his brothers Garvis Poston, Fowler Poston, and Charlie Poston and sisters Marie Hansel and Georgia Masters.

Pallbearers to serve are Chris Brown, Charlie Sells, Bruce Barlow, and Larry Ross.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen Loftis, Jack McCormick, and Keith Gaw.
