Graveside services for Mr. Gregory Kent Norris, age 69, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Liberty Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the graveside to honor his memory.

Mr. Norris passed away peacefully at his home in Livingston on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Born on December 28, 1954, in Livingston, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Dr. Denton D. Norris and Anna Glynn Speck Norris.

Greg dedicated his career to food service at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, where his kind spirit and friendly nature left a lasting impression. In his free time, he loved exploring flea markets, watching military shows, and spending time with friends, always eager to meet new people and share a smile.

He is survived by his loving family, including his brother, Gary Norris and wife Nancy Griffin Norris of Albany, KY; sister, Patricia Norris Park, of Signal Mountain, TN, and her late husband, Charles Park; niece Lisa Geiger and husband Darren of Kansas; nephew Andrew Park and wife Carol of Florida; great-niece Laura Geiger; great-nephews Tristan Geiger and wife Jessica, Connor Park, and Dylan Park; and great-nieces Ryleigh and Presley. He is also fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janie and Joe May Speck and Center and Foncie Norris.

Greg will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
