Funeral Services for Mr. Haskell E. Cox, age 81, of the Turkey Town Community will be conducted Wednesday, August 25th, at 1 PM from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. James Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Turkey Town Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday at 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM.
Haskell passed from this life on Friday afternoon from his residence. He was born January 28, 1940 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Mounce and Ida Boles Cox. Pentecostal in Faith, Haskell enjoyed hunting, playing his guitar, singing in church, and cattle farming. His greatest enjoyment was his family and spending time with them.
Haskell leaves behind his son, Russell Cox of Hilham, TN; daughters, Wanda Astrero and husband Oscar of Hawaii, and Nadean Reeder and husband Bobby of Livingston, TN; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; brother RC Cox of Hilham, TN.
In addition to his parents, Haskell was preceded in death by his wife Nell D. Boles Cox; daughter, Vivian Martin, and son, Estel Cox; sister Willodean Goolsby; brothers Lester Cox, Edgar Cox and Arlo Cox.
Pallbearers will be Hunter, James, Mason, Colby, Nick, and Josh.
