Speck Funeral Home - Helen Harris

Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen Louise Sevier Harris, age 81, of Livingston, Tennessee will be conducted 3 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Roger Phillips will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Miller Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of services.

Mrs. Harris passed from this life on Friday afternoon July 29, 2022, in the comfort of her home.  She was born in Allons, Tennessee on October 16, 1940, to the late Oscar Marion and Jenola Veachell Bilbrey Sevier.  Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved, cared for and rescued animals of all kinds.  She also loved traveling, singing and dancing.  Helen was a faithful church member of the Allons Baptist Church and recited the Lord's Prayer every night.

Helen leaves behind her Husband of 65 years, Earl P. Harris of Livingston, TN; daughters, Sharlette Hensley of Hilham, TN, Deloris Dianne Hofflund and husband Craig of LaMirada, CA, and Donna Sue Bell and husband Jerry of Jamestown, TN; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother: and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her sister.

Pallbearers to serve are James Williams, Chris Selzer, Matt Wiggington, Corey Wiggington, Jerry Beason, and Scott Geesling.
