Speck Funeral Home - Helen White

Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen White, age 78, of Livingston, Tennessee will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Caleb Bowling will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.

Mrs. Helen passed from this life on Thursday morning, September 21, 2023, from the Livingston Regional Hospital.  She was born in Byrdstown, Tennessee on March 7, 1945, to the late Virgil Leo and Mary Ella Smith Neal.  Baptist in faith, Helen loved sitting at home and watching her many birds.  She raised a garden every year and enjoyed the fruits of her labors.  She enjoyed her many flowers around the house and yard. Helen was also good at quilting and cross-stitching.  

Helen leaves behind her husband, William Ralph White, of Livingston, TN; sons, Steve White and wife Dawn of Cookeville, TN, and Matt White and wife Andrea of Loganville, GA; daughters, Lori Cannon and husband Mark of Allons, TN, Cherie Mangum and husband Vance of Allons, TN, and Ellen Brown and husband Michael of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Noel Ecklind, Aleta Cannon, Landen Thurman, David Cannon, Dalton Cannon, Gabriel "Gabe" White, Will White, and Ally White; sister, Carolyn Cozine of Livingston, TN; brother, Tommy Neal and wife Virgie, of Cookeville, TN

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her baby daughter, Charlotte White; brothers, Stanley and Haskel Neal; sister, Wanda Chambers Leonard, infant brother, James Evert Neal; and infant sister, Susan Ann Neal.

Pallbearers to serve are Landen Thurman, David Cannon, Dalton Cannon, Nick Foster, Matt White, and Danny Ferrell.
