Jackie Bilbrey, age 83, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 9, 2026.

Graveside services for Mr. Bilbrey will be held on Saturday, February 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Harris Chapel Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Overton County Honor Guard. Bro. Ricky Dixon will officiate.

Jackie was born on October 31, 1942, in Livingston, Tennessee, to the late Orman and Nora Bilbrey. In his later years, he joined the National Guard, where he proudly served his country. Jackie was a hardworking man who loved to work on anything he could. He enjoyed the outdoors and was known for working tirelessly throughout his life.

Jackie devoted himself to caring for his beloved wife of 58 years, Velma Jean Bilbrey, whom he faithfully cared for until her passing in November of last year.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Jean Bilbrey.

He is survived by his brother, Maurene Bilbrey and wife Brenda of Sparta, Tennessee; brother-in-law, William “Bud” Swallows and wife Janice of Livingston, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
