Speck Funeral Home - James Leon Dale

Funeral Services for Mr. James Leon Dale, age 84 of Rickman, will be conducted 2 pm Wednesday, September 16th, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.  Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of services at 2 pm.

James passed from this life on Saturday night, September 5, 2020, from Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Overton County on April 24, 1936, to the late Delbert and Mary Moore Dale.

James leaves behind his daughter Donna Faye Goodman of Rickman; adopted daughter Chyanne Dale of Rickman; grandchildren Mike Stocker, Christopher Goodman, and Tabitha Miller; and brother Willie Hugh Dale and wife Reba of Rickman.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dale was preceded in death by his wife Opal Dale; brother Leo Dale; and sisters Hazel LaPonte, Maxine Walker, and Erline Ledbetter.
