Celebration of Life Services for Mr. James E. Lipscomb, age 69 of Livingston, will be held 1 PM January 14th from a Family Residence (7240 Hook Ridge Road, Monroe, TN 38573).  The family will welcome friends at the time of service.

Mr. Lipscomb passed from this life on Monday evening, January 9, 2023, from his residence.  He was born in Lexington, Virginia, on July 20, 1953, to the late Marcellus Lipscomb and Betty King.  James loved his family very much, always spending time with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed singing karaoke, playing the guitar, going bowling, and making others laugh.

Mr. Lipscomb leaves behind his loving wife Kathy Lipscomb of Livingston; daughters Stephanie Higgs Tucker and husband Johnny of Tavares, Florida, Kristina Slater and husband Shane of Monroe, Melissa Lipscomb of Livingston, Candace Howell and husband Robert of Monroe, and Amber Theobald and husband Robert of Rickman; sons James Higgs, Jr. and wife Tina of Fruitland, Florida, and Jonathan Lipscomb of Livingston; 38 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother Richard Lee Higgs of Garden Ridge, Texas; and sisters Karen Myers of Fort Myers, Florida, and Kathryn Purvis of Cape Coral, Florida.

Mr. Lipscomb was preceded in death by his dad Jack Higgs, father Marcellus Lipscomb, and mother Betty King Purvis.
