Speck Funeral Home - James M. Sells, Jr.

Funeral Services for Mr. James M. Sells, Jr., age 73 of Livingston, will be conducted 1 pm Friday, October 30th from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.  Bro. Benny Sells, Bro. Rick Cross, and Bro. Jon Ledbetter will officiate.  Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 8 pm at Speck Funeral Home.

James passed from this life on Tuesday afternoon, October 27, 2020, from his residence.  He was born in Overton County on October 18, 1947, to the late Milbern and Marie (Carter) Sells.  He loved gardening, bush-hogging, feeding birds, and experiencing nature outside.  James was a Christian who loved God, his country, and his family dearly.

Mr. Sells leaves behind his loving wife Vivian Sells of Livingston; sons Jamie Sells and Joseph Sells of Livingston; grandchildren Wesley Sells, Noah McDermott, Brianna McDermott, and Kaycie McDermott; sisters Janice Sells and husband Ernie Hassler of Cookeville, June Collins and husband Danny of Allons, and Jeanetta Sells of Livingston; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sells was preceded in death by his infant son Wesley Andrew Sells and infant brother Jerry Sells.

Pallbearers to serve are Bobby Sells, Steve Sells, David West, Jason Collins, Doyle Sells, Danny Hull, Ernie Hassler, and Danny Collins.  Honorary pallbearers are all his friends and co-workers from Highways, Inc.
