Funeral Services for Mr. James Edward Reagan, age 74, of Monroe will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2024, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.  Bro. Danny Staggs will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Conner-Pryor Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at Graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.

Mr. James Reagan passed peacefully from this life from his home in Monroe on Tuesday evening July 23, 2024.  He was born in Livingston, Tennessee on January 10, 1950, to the late Farley Grant and Myrtle Allen Taylor.  James was a member of the Allons Church of Christ and served his country proudly in the United States Army during Vietnam.  He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting, and fishing.  He was known in his family as the fix all from carpentry to an electrician.  A true family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and his dog Ranger.  James also enjoyed gardening, farming, and his fruit trees.  A man who loved everyone and was truly humble.

James leaves behind his loving wife of 23 years, Mrs. Donna Faye Ogletree Reagan of Monroe, TN; sons, Jamie Allen Reagan of Hilham, TN, Joseph Wayne Reagan and wife Tonya of Livingston, TN, and step-son, Christopher Hammock and wife Danielle of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Allie Paige Reagan, Cayden Hammock, Braxton Hammock, and Lexi Hammock; sisters, Sue Thompson and husband Jimmy of Livingston, TN, Joan Carter of Cookeville, TN, Kay Reagan of Monroe, TN, Sheila Winningham and husband Gary of Byrdstown, TN, and Lessia Smith and husband Jeff of Allons, TN; brother, Bobby Joe Reagan of Monroe, TN; sister-in-law, Ruth Buck Reagan of Livingston, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his first wife Janie Prichard, brothers, Odel Reagan, Shirley Reagan, and Gary Reagan, and sister, Billie Faye Poston. 

Pallbearers to serve are Bobby Reagan, Derrick Poston, Cayden Hammock, Braxton Hammock, Dustin Winningham, and Tyler Reagan.
