Funeral Services for Mrs. Jean Clark, age 83 of the Barnes Ridge Community, will be conducted 2 PM Monday, November 28th from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. Steve Watts will officiate. Burial will be in the Barnes Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 8 PM.
Mrs. Clark passed from this life on Wednesday evening, November 23rd, from her residence. She was born in Kentucky on February 5, 1939, to the late Ervin and Mattie Poindexter. Jean loved spending time with her family, singing, and tending to her flowers.
Mrs. Clark leaves behind her son Danny Clark of Rickman; daughters Donna Bowman and husband Frank of Livingston and Diana Ledford and husband Mark of Allons; grandchildren Amanda Breeding, Megan Bowman Evans, Richard Clark, Daniel Clark, Hannah Cave, Denver Clark, and Makayla Ledford; seven great grandchildren; sister Marilyn Rose Boone; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her father-in-law Denver Clark and mother-in-law Ressie Clark; husband Edward D. Clark; brothers Albert D. Poindexter, Dewey Lee Poindexter, Thomas Woodrow Poindexter, and Jessie Reed Poindexter; and sister Shirley Dean Key.
Pallbearers to serve are Richard Clark, Daniel Clark, Denver Clark, Frank Bowman, Mark Ledford, and Brian Breeding.
