Funeral Services for Mr. Jeffrey Lee Kennedy, age 55, of the Oak Hill Community will be conducted 1 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2023, from the Oak Hill Church.  Bro. Todd Sutton will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Sunday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. then on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of services at Oak Hill Church.

Mr. Kennedy passed from this life on Tuesday morning, December 5, 2023, from the Skyline Medical Center.  He was born in Livingston, Tennessee on December 31, 1967, to Ellen Lee Ledbetter Kennedy and the late Charles Ray Kennedy.  Jeffs class was the first high school class of Rickman to graduate from Livingston academy in 1986.  He loved Livingston Academy sports, but he was a Rickman Bulldog at heart.  Jeff attended Oak Hill Church his entire life and was honored to be the chairman of Oak Hill Church, a title his father once held.  He has worked in the trucking industry since 1989 and has been the voice of Livingston Academy Basketball since 2009.  Jeff was known to always be the life of the party and he enjoyed working the room at any event he attended.  He was a member of the "Hit 'em and Hunt 'em" golf club.  Jeff followed his three girls anywhere and everywhere.  He enjoyed spending time in Destin, Florida with his friends and family.  Jeff was a music connoisseur and was known for his knowledge of bands.  He lived and breathed UT Sports, and his girls and family loved him best for his Selflessness, Humbleness, and being Loyal. 

Jeff leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Mrs. Tammy Howell Kennedy of Rickman, TN; daughters, Morgan Kennedy Sims and husband McLain of Cookeville, TN, and Bailey Kennedy of Charleston, SC; mother, Ellen Ledbetter Kennedy, of Rickman, TN; brother, Steven Kennedy and wife Shannon of Knoxville, TN; sister, Vickie Kennedy Duncan of Knoxville, TN; mother-in-law, Jean Ann Weaver and stepdad Ken of Sparta, TN; a host of nieces and nephew Jacob, also several aunts and uncles.

In addition to his father, Jeff was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elin Ruth Sims, father-in-law, Bobby Howell, and grandparents, Cosby and Enna Susan Eldridge Kennedy, and Glenmore & Velma Walker Ledbetter.

Pallbearers to serve are Steve Kennedy, McLain Sims, Jacob Duncan, Brian Crabtree, Michael Melton, Richard Melton, Greg McDonald, Jeremy McDonald, David Ledbetter, Chris Ledbetter, Ryan Ledbetter and Alex Ledbetter.
