A gathering of family and friends to honor the life of Jennifer Jill Collins, age 52, of the Pleasant Hill Community in Clay County, was held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at her home.

Jennifer passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was born on July 10, 1972, in Anderson, Indiana, to Danny and June Sells Collins. The family moved back to Tennessee when she was very young, so she lived the majority of her life in the Pleasant Hill Community. For more than 25 years, Jennifer proudly served her community as a dedicated U.S. Postal Service mail carrier. Through rain, snow, and sunshine, she delivered more than 
just letters and packages—she brought warmth, kindness, and a bright smile to every doorstep. Known for her unwavering commitment and going above and beyond in her duties, Jennifer became a cherished part of the Pleasant Hill community and beyond. At Christmas time, many of her mail route customers showed their gratitude with heartfelt gifts, a true reflection of the love and respect she had earned through her years of service.

Jennifer was the heart of her family and is survived by her loving parents, Danny and June Collins; her sons, Tyler and wife Korry Bailey Cole, Jesse and wife Deidra Garrett Cole, and Abe Collins; her treasured grandchildren, Liam Cole, Kollins Cole, Garrett 
Cole, Layken Cole, and Ellie Cole; and stepdaughters, Natalie Ellis and husband Devin Harris of Durham, NC, and Emeley Ellis of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by her brother, Jason Collins and wife Kelley of Livingston, TN; her aunts, Janice Sells and 
husband Ernie Hassler of Cookeville, TN, and Jeanetta Sells of Livingston, TN; her uncle, Terry Collins of Booneville, MS, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Radford and Agnes Collins and Milbern and Marie Sells; her uncle, James Sells; and special beloved great-grandparents, Carl Collins and Elizabeth Carter. 

Jennifer's sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her memory lives on in the community she served so faithfully and in the family she loved so dearly. She will be remembered for her compassion, work ethic, and the 
genuine care she extended to everyone along her mail route and beyond.
