In Loving Memory of Mr. Jerry Wayne Bowers

June 13, 1954 – September 10, 2025

Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Bowers, age 71, of the Rock Crusher Community, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the First Church in Livingston. Bro. John Cahill will officiate. Burial will follow in the Joseph Stover Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.

Mr. Jerry passed from this life on the evening of Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Jerry Wayne Bowers was born at home in Allons, Tennessee, on June 13, 1954, Jerry was the beloved grandson of the late William Herbert Bowers and Essie Deo Stover Bowers.

Jerry had a heart full of kindness and never met a stranger. Always willing to help others, he was well known throughout the community and especially loved walking the streets of Livingston, striking up conversations and brightening people's days.

A true CB radio enthusiast, Jerry was known by his handle, "Peanut". Some of his favorite pastimes included visits to KFC, Captain D’s, and Stover’s, which he enjoyed regularly.

Jerry’s chosen family was his brothers and sisters in Christ at the Livingston First Church, who meant the world to him.

He Was Preceded in Death By

His dear friends and caretakers: Patsy Seaman and Avalon Hunter
