Speck Funeral Home - Jimmy Ashburn, Sr. Obituary

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Jimmy E. Ashburn, Sr., age 72 of Livingston, will be conducted at a later date.

Mr. Ashburn passed from this life on Monday morning, September 19, 2022, from his residence. He was born in Putnam County on January 21, 1950, to the late J.L. and Dolly Murphy Ashburn. Jimmy loved going hunting and spending time outdoors.

Mr. Ashburn leaves behind his loving wife Terry Ashburn of Livingston; son Jimmy Ashburn, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Monterey; grandchildren Erika Ashburn, Kaleb Ashburn, Kelsey Ashburn, Chasatie Goforth, Kobe Ashburn, Morgan Goforth, and Raylee Goforth; sister Alice Lamb of Cookeville; and brother Danny Ashburn and wife Linda of Algood.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brothers J.L. Ashburn, Jr. and Donald Ashburn; and sister Marie Pinkston.
